Edinburgh Fringe 2026 · 45 days to opening|7-31 August 2026

Where to stay

Accommodation is the first big Fringe decision, and the most emotional. Choose by venue zone, late-night confidence, walking tolerance and budget - not just hotel star rating.

Book as early as you can - August accommodation fills up. For short-term lets, use verified hosts to protect yourself from scams, and check the latest City of Edinburgh Council guidance on the visitor levy and whether it is included in the price.
